Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
The Church is not a “charity.” Only the Church is given the Gospel as its specific charter, duty, and ministry. Christians offer their time, talent and treasure to the local church in response to their vocation, calling, and active ministries.
